Dr. Cecil Lamberton attended the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s (AACD) 28th Annual Scientific Session, in Washington, DC, from Wednesday, May 2 – Saturday, May 5, 2012. The AACD is the world’s largest international dental organization dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry through responsible esthetics, of which Dr. Cecil Lamberton is an active member.
The conference, themed, “Learn Outside the Lines,” featured more than 48 hands-on workshops, 85 lectures, and 90 speakers. Roughly 2,000 dental professionals attended the event, which is geared toward dentists, lab technicians, hygienists, and dental team members to help them refine their skills, learn the latest techniques, and share ideas.
“Washington, DC, was an amazing meeting,” said AACD President John Sullivan, DDS, “because we truly focus on how the best restorative dentists—as well as specialists and ceramists—educate, inspire, and connect to create masterful results from very challenging to simple situations.”
Attendees had the opportunity to attend several continuing education courses throughout the meeting to learn more about cosmetic dentistry. They also received credits for their participation in these courses. The AACD is a recognized credit provider for the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the National Association of Dental Laboratories.
