Domestic violence afflicts an estimated 1.5 million Americans every year. Sometimes this violence leads to severely damaged smiles. Imagine not only living with this emotional trauma, but being forced to wear it on your face every day through chipped or missing teeth.
Give Back A Smile (GBAS) is a program through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation’s (AACDCF) that aims to heal a little bit of this pain. By getting your own teeth whitened, you can help a victim of domestic violence get a new smile.
